Menu Navigation: (This is where your brain overloads...)
We will take you through the menu from page 1 to end and explain what’s happening in the menu and how to use it to your advantage.
Operational Training:
Moving around the camera fast and efficiently.
From where is the ON button? to what the video outputs ?
It’s important to know your camera so that you can work fast and have the least
down time on set/location. How to sort out dead pixels in the field and when to shout at the producer...never.
Setting up looks:
We can set up looks for most cameras, this is particularly useful when the
post production budget is small or non existent..
Also to set uo for a film out option.
From film looks to outrageous music video stuff to stylish commercials.
Advance Training:
You can learn how to set up your own look.. We will take you through the process
of understanding the Matrix, gamma and knee. These three items are the most used
and most misunderstood. It not that difficult really, but it can be fatal in post if you get it wrong.
Digital Media Wrangler:
We mainly teach field data managment. XDCAM HD SXS or Optical disc system onto Final Cut Pro
or using Sony software like Vegas.
